Next Wave of Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass in July 2023

Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its library in July 2023, and its latest addition is a major title.

Recently, the upcoming lineup of games for June and July 2023 was unveiled, and it includes the popular 2022 racing game, Need for Speed Unbound. This acclaimed racer is part of the Electronic Arts subscription service, EA Play, and since this additional service is included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, it’s also accessible through the Microsoft service. This is great news for gamers!

Criterion Games developed Need for Speed Unbound, marking it as the 25th mainline installment in the series. Taking inspiration from the city of Chicago, the game showcases a visually stunning cel-shaded art style with vibrant graffiti elements that burst with color. Alongside its eye-catching visuals, the game offers a cinematic story campaign, thrilling high-speed gameplay, and extensive car customization options, encompassing all the elements one would expect from a Need for Speed game.

When will Need for Speed Unbound be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you might ask? Well, it has actually been made available today, on June 22, 2023. Additionally, the game can also be accessed through EA Play on PlayStation 5.

What other games are being added to Xbox Game Pass in July 2023? Among the upcoming additions are Bramble: The Mountain King (available on Cloud, Console, and PC) and F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch (available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) on June 27. Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (available on Console and PC) will be added on June 29, followed by Arcade Paradise (available on Console and PC) on July 3, and Sword and Fairy: Together Forever (available on Console and PC) on July 5.

In related news, Microsoft has announced that not only will the price of the Xbox Series X console be increased, but the Xbox Game Pass subscription service will also see a price hike. But Need for Speed Unbound is now available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
