What are Lost Ark’s Providence Stones? How to get and farm Providence Stones?

Lost Ark’s Providence Stones are some of the game’s most sought after items, so here’s what they are, how to use them, and how to farm them quickly in order to build rapport.

What are Lost Ark’s Providence Stones?

Providence Stones serve one purpose in Lost Ark – they are used to buy rapport items. What are those? Well, rapport items are exclusive gifts that can be given to your NPC sweethearts.

Whether Prideholme’s stunning innkeeper Neria is the woman of your dreams (just don’t let her cook for you), or they mysterious Gideon has won your heart, you can trade Providence Stones to Nada or Travelling Merchants for some meaningful trinkets that’ll make them fall head over heels for you.

Described as “an elegant rose-colored stone” and shaped like a heart, the lore claims that the tiny pink rock “symbolizes new relationships.”

Where to get Providence Stones in Lost Ark

If you’re interested in sparking up a love interest with one of your NPC colleagues, you’ll need to go on the hunt for some of these little heart shaped stones.

While there’s no set way of getting these, they can largely be found dropping from Elite and Alpha monsters, as well as from bosses. Of course, they can drop from chests and random loot as well, but the odds are largely against it.

How to Farm Providence Stones in Lost Ark

One of the most effective ways to farm Providence Stones in Lost Ark is by completing Una daily tasks. While these are not guaranteed to reward you with them, they’ll often give you anywhere from several hundred to thousands. You can see which Una tasks give you Providence Stones by navigating to the Una Task menu (Alt+J) and using the search bar to find them. You can also use items to increase your daily Una Task limit, allowing you to finish more tasks for Providence Stones.

Another method of gaining Providence Stones is by completing side quests. You can go to your regular journal menu to see if any current side quests you have give you Providence Stones. Many side quests will not only have Providence Stones as ending rewards but will require you to go into dungeons that give you them. Since many dungeons give you Providence Stones as ending rewards, these types of quests are a good opportunity to gain plenty of stones at a time.

You can also farm Providence Stones by defeating elite enemies. These enemies appear as grey skulls on your map as you’re travelling around. However, these monsters only drop between three to five providence stones at a time. If you are looking to save up for a skin chest worth 70,000 Providence Stones, this will not be your quickest method of obtaining them. Elite enemies frequently appear at all levels, though, so you will begin to accumulate Providence Stones over time as you fight them more.

Lost Ark Quests in Dungeons

Completing certain quests in dungeons will also reward adventurers with Providence Stones. Here is a list of all the quests and their respective dungeons:

  • Ancient Elveria (Quest: Sigmund’s Whereabouts)
  • Frostpeak Temple (Quest: Wolves at the Sanctum)
  • Gorgon’s Nest (Quest: Qualifications to Enter Balankar)
  • Maze of Mirrors (Quest: Blinding Fog)
  • Night of Walpurgis (Quest: Repair the Magic Barrier)
  • Phantom Palace (Quest: Elzowin’s Defender)
  • Realm of Elementals (Quest: Fallen Flamekeeper)
  • Vrad’s Hideout (Quest: Finding Vrad)
What is a Providence Stone Lost Ark?

Providence Stones are a vital part of Lost Ark. To make your adventure in Arkesia a fruitful one, you will need the favor of many NPCs! As usual, MMORPGs do include a ton of in/game currencies or items that serve as such. Lost Ark is no exception to this rule.

How do I check my Providence stones?

There are only a few ways to find the stones in the world, but the real surefire method is by defeating special enemies marked by a yellow or orange glow around them. These tougher mobs will give extra experience points but will also drop more loot, which could include the stones you seek.

What do I do with the ability stones in Lost Ark?

When all the attempts are exhausted and every diamond either filled or greyed out, you can finally equip the ability stone. If you end up with a dud, you can disenchant your stone and exchange the by-product with the stonecutter for more ability stones.

How do you facet the Lost Ark?

When faceting an Ability Stone at a Stone Cutter, you basically want to fill the top two rows with nodes, while avoiding many nodes in the third row, which is a debuff. Nodes are either made or cracked by clicking the icon next to them. For Silver, you’ll fill each node with either a gem-like icon or a cracked icon.
