the 29-year-old is all set to welcome his second child with his wife, whose identity has been kept under a wrap. confirming the same, the artist’s label SM Entertainment issued a statement that read, ”It is true that Chen’s wife is pregnant with their second child.”

The singer announced his marriage in January 2020 and welcomed his first child with his wife in April.

Currently completing his military service after being enlisted in October last year, the artist will be discharged in April 2022.

Many fans were expecting Chen to issue a statement to announce the good news and also hoped that he would not be apologizing like the last time. For the unversed, the artist received backlash for his sudden marriage announcement with his girlfriend who was expecting his first child. EXO’s Chen expecting 2nd child

Chen of EXO will have another child soon, according to a local media report on Tuesday.

His label SM Entertainment confirmed that his wife is pregnant with their second child, following the report.

The veteran idol announced that he will be marrying his girlfriend in January 2020. The news sent fans into shock, and some went so far as to demand that he be expelled from the band.

In about three months after a private wedding, they welcomed a daughter and recently was reported to have celebrated her first birthday at a hotel in Seoul. He has been serving his military duty since October last year.

The idol is currently serving in the Korean military after enlisting in October 2020.

Chen debuted in 2012 with EXO, which released a special album, “Don’t Fight the Feeling,” earlier this year.
