If you’re playing Basketball Stars, you know it’s the best two-player game on virlan.co! It’s so much fun to challenge your friends! But let’s be real, nothing is more annoying than when your friend blocks all your shots or steals the ball every time!
I’ve been practicing my moves at home (since the school computers are super lame!) and I’ve finally figured out how to always win. Get ready to dominate!
The Game Plan: Offense vs. Defense ⚔️
Basketball Stars is simple: score more points than your opponent before the timer runs out! But winning isn’t just about shooting—it’s about knowing when to attack and when to defend.
- The Controls: It depends on which player you are, but you use arrow keys or $WASD$ to move, and keys like $X/L$ for shooting/stealing, and $Z/K$ for pumping/dashing.
- The Goal: Score 2-pointers and 3-pointers, and use your awesome Special Shot when you have a full star meter!
My Top 3 Secrets to Beat Your Friends! 🤫
You need great offense to score, but awesome defense to stop them! Here are my winning moves:
| # | The Secret Move | Offense or Defense? | Why It Works |
| 1 | The Jittery Pump Fake! | Offense | When you jump up to shoot, your opponent will try to block you! Instead of shooting, just tap the Pump/Fake button ($Z$ or $K$). They’ll jump and miss the block, and then you have a clear shot right after they land! It’s unfair, but it works! |
| 2 | The Wait-and-Block! | Defense | Do NOT jump to block right when your opponent jumps! They might use the pump fake (see #1). You need to wait until you see the ball actually leaving their hands (or you see them start to spin for the special shot). That way, you won’t fall for the fake! |
| 3 | The Dribble-Dash Trick! | Offense | When you have the ball, quickly tap the Dash button ($Z$ or $K$ after you move) right past your defender. They won’t be fast enough to steal it! Use this to get to the 3-point line fast, or to sprint right under the basket for an easy 2-pointer. |
If you practice these moves, your friends won’t know what hit them! You’ll be scoring 3-pointers and blocking everything!
