Nordle – How to play the geographical word guessing game

Nordle is a geography-based word game similar to Wordle, except you have to guess the name of a Nordic or Arctic country, place, or region within 6 attempts.

Here’s how to play Nordle:

1. Go to nordle.net

This will take you to the Nordle game homepage.

2. Enter a Nordic or Arctic place name in the answer box

Type a word you think the answer could be in the box at the top left of the screen.

3. Click “Play!” or hit Enter

4. The tiles will change color to give hints

– Green means the letter is correct and in the correct position.
– Yellow means the letter is in the name but in the wrong position.
– Grey means the letter is not in the name at all.

5. Make your next guess based on the color clues

Enter another Nordic or Arctic place name in the box.

6. Keep guessing until you get the correct answer or use all 6 attempts

You have 6 total guesses to figure out the mystery location.

7. A new Nordic place name will appear for the next round

Keep playing to guess as many locations as you can!
