How to get Pac-Man items in Fortnite? When is the release date?

Fortnite Item Shop NEW PAC-MAN

The PAC-MAN Item Set is now live in Fortnite, allowing you to buy various forms of PAC-MAN apparel for your character to wear during matches. The items available in Fortnite shop include the PAC-MAN Back Bling, allowing you to have either PAC-MAN himself or one of the four ghosts on your back, and the Pac-Brained emote, allowing your character to sit down and play a game of PAC-MAN floating over their head.

Is PAC-MAN Item Now Available in Fortnite?

To celebrate the 42nd Anniversary of PAC-MAN, the new PAC-MAN Item Set is available now as Fortnite skins. The item set includes the PAC-MAN Back Bling and PAC-brained emote.

Whatever direction the battle takes you, the PAC-MAN Back Bling will encourage your pursuit. Never stopped forgetting the classics? The Back Bling’s available in the Item Shop alongside the PAC-Brained Emote. (Take a PAC-MAN break with the power of your mind.)

Fortnite PAC-MAN Back Bling Equip the PAC-MAN Back Bling to place the classic character on your back. When you head left, he’ll face left, and when you head right, he’ll face right! He’ll also pixelate when you land or take damage.

But the PAC-MAN Back Bling is more than just PAC-MAN. Switch to one of the ghosts — BLINKY, INKY, CLYDE, or PINKY — in the Locker! Always on the hunt, their eyes will move up, down, left, or right to match the direction you’re moving. Like PAC-MAN, they’ll pixelate when you land, but when you take damage, they’ll TURN-TO-BLUE too. When you go Down But Not Out, they’ll become only EYES.

Whether you have PAC-MAN fever or just extreme PAC-MAN enthusiasm, show it by projecting the game from your mind. Let your mind wander with the PAC-Brained Emote!

When is Fortnite PAC-MAN skins release date?

The official PAC-MAN website made a post to announce that items with a PAC-MAN motif will arrive in Fortnite on June 2, 2022. These items will help commemorate the franchise’s 42nd Anniversary.

At the time of writing, Epic Games have yet to confirm what will be included in this brand-new crossover, but we will most likely get more details about the crossover as it draws near.

Neither Epic Games nor Namco disclosed what particular cosmetics are coming to Fortnite’s item shop. However, we do have a few guesses about the possible items. Starting off with the possible outfit, we feel like Epic will dress up a default skin in Pac-Man merchandise. Then we could get a classic 80s Pac-Man-themed Harvesting Tool. As for the glider, it makes sense to have it themed after all the ghosts in the game. Finally, for the back bling, it could be the modern-day design of Pac-Man himself. Keep in mind that these are all guesses and readers should take this with a grain of salt.

Honestly, we are still clueless about what Epic and Namco have in store for us with this collaboration. Aside from cosmetics, we’re not entirely sure if there’ll be a dedicated event for Pac-Man. We’ll just have to wait and see come June 2.

How to get Pac-Man items in Fortnite?

According to the PAC-MAN Twitter account, Fortnite players will be able to get their hands on the new cosmetics in the Item Shop by spending V-Bucks. This could include individual cosmetic skins as well as a bundle.

While we don’t know the exact price of these cosmetic items, they will most likely cost around 1,500 V-Bucks like various other crossover skins. We might also see the arrival of items like Back Blings, Gliders, Loading Screens, and Pickaxes.

Pac-Man items are from the Fortnite Battle Royale store and must be purchased with V-Bucks, the virtual currency of the game. At the time we write this news, the exchange rate is 1,000 paVos for €7.99. These new Fortnite cosmetics first hit the store on June 2, 2022:

As we already told you at the time, the collaboration is what we expected: Pac-Man cosmetic items in Fortnite, but no skins.

PAC-MAN BACK BLING

Equip the PAC-MAN Back Bling to place the classic character on your back.

The PAC-MAN Back Bling is not like every normal back bling in the game, the classic character will move left when the players move left and move right when the players do so, it will also pixelate when the players land on the ground or take damage. Players also have the option to switch to one of the ghosts in the game through the in-game Locker, the ghosts include BLINKY, INKY, CLYDE, or PINKY. When the players are downed but not knocked out then the back bling will become only eyes.

PAC-BRAINED EMOTE

Whether you have PAC-MAN fever or just extreme PAC-MAN enthusiasm, show it by projecting the game from your mind. Let your mind wander with the PAC-Brained Emote!

The PAC-BRAINED Emote will allow the players to project the game through their mind. The emote will consist of the player sitting on a stool with an arcade controller in their hand. The iconic theme of the game will start playing along with a pre-set run of PAC-MAN and the Ghosts that will be projected on top of the player’s head.

What is PAC-MAN?

Pac-Man is a 1980 maze action video game developed and released by Namco for arcades. The original Japanese title of Puck Man was changed to Pac-Man for international releases as a preventative measure against defacement of the arcade machines by changing the P to an F. In North America, the game was released by Midway Manufacturing as part of its licensing agreement with Namco America. The player controls Pac-Man, who must eat all the dots inside an enclosed maze while avoiding four colored ghosts. Eating large flashing dots called “Power Pellets” causes the ghosts to temporarily turn blue, allowing Pac-Man to eat them for bonus points.
