Who is Vanessa FNAF? Who is Vanny?
Is Vanny Vanessa?
Vanessa FNAF, also known as Vanny, Ness, Vannie, and Reluctant Follower is the main protagonist of Five Nights at Freddy‘s VR: Help Wanted and Curse of Dreadbear.
She is not seen directly, but is only heard through her mask in the game. She also appears in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach as the main antagonist.
Vanessa FNAF has a white complexion with freckled bits on her face. Her appearance bear a physical resemblance to Elizabeth Afton, she has blonde hair, apple green eyes, and has glossy lips. In the Unmasked ending, she’s shown wearing a purple jacket, a gray shirt, and dark gray pants. Her former co-worker Luis describes Vanessa as very beautiful and someone who can brighten up a room. She is a doppelganger of the security guard seen working there.
While Vanessa, referred to as Ness, does not appear in person, she is mentioned in the “unintended E-Mails” from Fazbear Entertainment. Before the events of Help Wanted, Vanessa FNAF was an employee of the Fazbear Funtime Service working as a security guard for the company. After she was contacted by one of the game developers from Silver Parasol Games, after they accidentally created a virus from one of animatronics’ PCB. She pretended to be a Senior IT Representative from Fazbear Entertainment to trick them into giving her full access to their company to get rid of the virus. After believing that Vanessa got rid of the virus, Silver Parasol started working on the The Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience again, only for for Vanessa to give unauthorized commands to their system, gaining full control over their system. She locked every employee out of their account.
After receiving an e-mail from Vanessa’s fake credential, “_pizzaplex”, it is revealed that Vanessa was researching the company’s records of the Fazbear Entertainment Floor 3 employee, and that she transferred from Fazbear Funtime to work as a security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex.

Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF) is an American media franchise created by Scott Cawthon. It began with the 2014 video game of the same name and has since gained worldwide popularity.
The main video game series consists of eight survival horror games taking place in locations somehow connected to family pizza restaurant Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. In most games, the player takes on the role of a night-time employee, who must utilise tools such as security cameras, lights, doors, and vents to defend themselves against hostile animatronic characters that inhabit the locations. The series’ canon is revealed through voice recordings, minigames, and easter eggs featured throughout the games.
The franchise also includes spin-off games and other media, including a novel trilogy and an anthology series, comprising an all-encompassing fictional universe. A film adaptation is also planned. Merchandise for the games has been produced, and a horror attraction based on the series was featured in the Adventuredome for Halloween 2016. The series also appeared in the Guinness Book of Records: Gamer’s Edition, setting a record for the largest number of sequels released in a year.

Why does Vanny wear a mask FNAF?
By wearing her mask while looking at Glitchtrap’s plush form, she tells him that she is preparing everything, that he has told her with no problems, and no one suspected anything about their plans or that he is trapped in the plush.
Vanny is sometimes thought to be Tape Girl. This is easily disproven due to Reluctant Follower and Tape Girl having different voice actresses
Vanessa was confirmed to be Vanny by one of Security Breach’s alternate endings.
Vanessa A., also known as simply Vanny, is a major antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise. She is the main protagonist of Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted, the unseen main antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery, and the main antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach.
Vanny is the presumed main protagonist of Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted. At the end of the original game, Glitchtrap attempts to possess her in order to escape from The Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience and into the real world. He partially succeeds, gaining influence over her as a voice in her head.
In-game notes say that Glamrock Bonnie was replaced by Monty in FNAF Security Breach. Per Reddit user DylanFallis, it’s said that the famous Five Nights At Freddy’s animatronic bunny was put out of commission. Monty filled in for him and became so popular that the rabbit never returned.
Vanessa, otherwise known as Vanny or the Reluctant Follower, is a human who follows the orders of Glitchtrap. She is the presumed main protagonist of Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted. She is not seen directly, but is only heard through her mask in the game.
Who is the bunny in Security Breach?
Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Security Breach Vanessa
Vanessa A. is the guard featured in Security Breach. She was previously identified as a Security Representative at Fazzbear Entertainment in the Special Delivery game.
Fans have theorized that Vanessa and Vanny are connected in some way, or could be the same person, but this is not confirmed by the developers. In one email communication regarding employee birthdays, Vanessa had requested a bunny-shaped birthday cake, which supports her connection to FNAF: Security Breach’s character, Vanny, who wears a bunny costume. Other emails in the game also reveal that she is sometimes bright, bubbly, and talkative, while other times she is unresponsive and searches for red-flagged phrases on her work computer.
The emails in Special Delivery refer to Vanessa as Ness, and they become increasingly disturbing as Luis C. tries to help her and get to the bottom of her faking IT credentials to upload a data packet flagged as a virus. Luis C. comments on how Vanessa’s personality seems to change from day to day, and she also has some questionable search history regarding lifelike rubber masks and how to make humans compliant. Regardless of whether or not Vanessa and Vanny are connected, it’s clear this security guard’s role in FNAF: Security Breach raises some cause for concern.
Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Security Breach Vanny
Vanny, also referred to as the Reluctant Follower, is a human in a white bunny suit who follows the orders of Glitchtrap. She is another returning character that was not technically seen in a FNAF game, however, she was alluded to in FNAF VR: Help Wanted. At the end of the VR game, Glitchtrap tries to possess the protagonist and gains influence over her as a voice in her head. Her bunny mask can also be found in the corn maze, and her voice is heard through it. Glitchtrap’s influence, and the emails in Special Delivery, are the biggest reasons for the theory that Vanny and Vanessa are one and the same.
Vanny appears to be one of the biggest antagonists going after Gregory in Security Breach. She’s shown throughout the trailer creepily skipping towards the player and peeking around corners. Since she is a brainwashed human being controlled, it is likely that Glitchtrap will also be involved in Security Breach in some way. So far, he has not been mentioned in any official release or shown definitively in a trailer, but his connection to Vanny makes him a potential antagonist. It’s also speculated by fans that the charred, damaged hand in the first game trailer belongs to Glitchtrap.
