How to Play Baseball Pro
The first step is to go to the Baseball Pro website and register for a free account. This will allow you to save your progress and compete against other managers.
Start a New Franchise
Choose whether you want to start a new Major League franchise or Minor League franchise. You will be asked to name your team and choose your team colors.
Draft Players
In the initial draft, you will select players to fill out your roster. You can draft real life baseball players or create your own players.
Manage Your Roster
Throughout the seasons you will need to manage your roster by signing free agents, trading players, and promoting prospects from the minors.
Win Games and Simulate Seasons
Each game simulates a full 9 innings. You can decide your batting order, pitching rotations, and defensive lineups to maximize your chance of winning games. You can also simulate whole seasons at a time.
Compete in the MLB Playoffs
If you qualify for the playoffs, you will compete against the best teams in your league for the championship.
Improve Your Team Facilities
As you earn in-game currency, you can upgrade your stadium, training facilities, and scouting to attract better players and prospects.
Tips for Being a Successful Baseball Pro Manager
Drafting and Scouting
Focus your early draft picks and international scouting on players with the highest potential rating. Utility players and pitchers with high “Stuff” ratings are also valuable.
Trading and Free Agency
Look for players with high potential who are blocked at their current position and trade for them. Sign valuable free agents who fit your team needs.
Player Development
Make sure your coaches have high ratings to develop your prospects quickly. Simulate your minor league teams often to maximize player progression.
