Elden Ring: How to Reach Mohgwyn Palace? How to Get to Palace Approach Ledge-Road?

Elden Ring is the first Soulsborne open-world game made by FromSoftware, and finding some locations for good loot or defeating a boss might be a little hard to find. One of these locations filled with great rewards is Mohgwyn Palace, but finding it is hard, and exploring it requires skill. If you want to have some dangerous adventures in Mohgwyn Palace, here is how to reach it in Elden Ring.

How to Reach Mohgwyn Palace in Elden Ring

Mohgwyn Palace is the realm underneath Caelid. The first need necessary for reaching this palace is Pureblood Knight’s Medal. After you complete the Varre Questline and then speak to Varre afterward, you will receive the Pureblood Knight’s Medal key. For getting this quest, firstly beat the Godrick the Grafted, and then next to Limgrave’s First Steps, you can initiate the quest. However, it needs to be said that the quest is not that hard but indeed is a little long.

After getting the key, use it and choose to go to the Audience Grounds. The game will ask you if you want to go there, select yes, and then you will find yourself in a region facing stone steps going through an archway; this is where you want to be. First, follow this path until you reach the Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance site of grace, secure the site, and start your exploring from here. Your biggest challenge here is the deadly giant skeleton allies that enemies spawn to crush you.

How to Leave Mohgwyn

Once you are done with this place, you will want to leave it. But how can you do this? If you bring up your map, the only thing you will see is the Mohgwyn Palace area itself. Don’t worry, there is actually a really easy way to leave – it’s just that Elden Ring isn’t always (or usually) the best when it comes to transparent user interface. What you need to do is to press the Select button. This will bring up the map. Next, since you are underground here, press R3. Doing this will bring up the above-ground map and you can now freely select where you want to fast travel to and be on your way

How to Get to Approach Ledge-Road

The Palace Approach Ledge-Road is one of Elden Ring‘s many Sites of Grace and is found in an optional area known as Mohgwyn Palace. This is the first Site of Grace that players that access the area will rest at if they don’t get to the area through Verre’s questline and is also right next to one of the best spots for farming Runes in the game. Whether you want to pad your Rune pocket or want to make your way to Shardbearer Mohg for a bloody battle, you are going to want to stop at the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Grace. This guide will tell players how to get to the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace in Elden Ring.

Just as there are two ways to get to Mohgwyn Palace, there are technically two ways to get to the Palace Approach Ledge-Road. The first way will bring you close to the Site of Grace in question but requires you to get reasonably far into the game. There is a teleporter found in the Consecrated Snowfield. You access this area, but you will need to find both halves of the Haligtree Medallion. Once in the area, you will want to head to the area on the map pictured below. You will find a teleporter and will be invaded by a Sanguine Noble NPC. Upon defeating the blood-based adversary, you will be able to use the teleporter. This will bring you to a cave that leads you out to Mohgwyn Palace, with the first Site of Grace you find being the Palace Approach Ledge-Road.

How To Get To Palace Approach Ledge-Road In Elden Ring

The other method to reach can the Palace Approach Ledge-Road be done fairly early through Verre’s side quest. You will need to defeat Godrick the Grafted to get Verre to move to the Rose Church in Liurnia of the Lake. If you tell him that you find something off about the Two Fingers, he will give you the Festering Bloody Finger, an item that is used to invade other players. Invade three players, and Verre will tell you to get a Favor bathed in a Maiden’s blood.

You can find a dead Maiden at the Chapel of Anticipation, which you can access with an Imbued Sword Key at the Four Belfries location in Liurnia or at the Church of Inhibition. Taking this back to Verre, he will give you the Pureblood Knight’s Medal. This will bring you to the Mohgwyn Palace area, but you will need to work your way backward from your spawn across the bloody lake to reach the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace.
