The Best Caustic Skins in Apex Legends

The Best Caustic Skins in Apex Legends: A Complete Tier List + Worst to Best Rank + Upcoming Skins

Whether you’re a new player or a veteran, we can all agree that when playing any character, we want them to look their best. For today’s article, we’ll be going over the best Caustic skins in Apex Legends. As we explained the Apex Legends new pathfinder skin.

How Many Caustic Skins are there in Apex Legends?

Right now in season 10 of Apex Legends mobile, Respawn has released 68 skins so far. Among them, there are 21 legendary, 8 Epic, 23 Rare, and 16 Common Caustic skins.

Best Caustic Skins in Apex Legends (A Complete Tier List)

Here we’ll rank all the legendary Caustic skins that Respawn has released so far and put them into three distinct categories such as S-Tier, A-Tier, and lastly B-Tier. By our rating system, S-Tier skins are basically the cream of the crops when it comes to Caustic skins in the game. Meaning they are the rarest and highly sought-after cosmetic items in the game.

And they are closely followed by A-Tier skins which are also pretty good, but they all lack the X factor that true S-tier skin possesses. Lastly, we have the B-Tier skins. In short, they are just average in terms of their looks and popularity within the Apex community.

In general, we took rarity and cool-looking colorway into consideration while ranking these Caustic skins. And as with any other tier list, this one is extremely subjective. This list is mainly made to guide new and old players who are looking for some of the best-looking legendary skins for Caustic.

Best(S-Tier): The Last laugh, Claustic, Killing Joke, Silverback, Prince of Darkness
Good(A-Tier): Necrosis, Deputy of Death, Bloodthirsty, The Trophy Hunter, Third Emperor, Blackheart, Gasbuster
Average(B-Tier): Sixth Sense, Divine Right, Philosopher’s Stone, Dark Cloud, Waste Management, Sweet Dreams, Mad King, Inmate Nox

Best Caustic Skins

This list is in order from the best Caustic Skins in Apex Legends, all the way up to the very best skin at the bottom. These skins are earned in a variety of ways, such as Prime Gaming, limited-time events, past battle passes, and in-store promotions, as well as year-round buyable skins. That said, this is not a ‘how-to guide’ on how to get them, and will not detail how to do such. Some will never even be available again. It is almost purely rating the aesthetics.

Claustic

Next up, we have arguably one of the most unique skins on this list of Caustic Skins in Apex Legends! This interesting-looking outfit saw its debut at Mirage’s Holo-Day Bash Collection Event.

The skin is a Christmas-themed getup that turns our sociopathic mad scientist into jolly old Saint Nick! The coat is a bright shade of red, and it features white highlights all over the body. Caustic’s hair has been turned snow white, and he even has a pair of small round glasses!

Sixth Sense

Now for another old skin that has been in the game since day one. Due to how long it’s been in the game, this skin is also fairly common to see in public matches. It’s not just how easy you can obtain it that makes it popular, however.

This is a great-looking skin, but it doesn’t try to be as creative as some of the other ones on this list of Caustic Skins in Apex Legends. It sports a gray and yellow color scheme, with a cloth draped across Caustic’s chest. He is even wearing a blindfold across his eyes! Does it make sense from a gameplay perspective? Not really, but it looks cool!

Killing Joke

Coming in at spot number four, we have the Killing Joke legendary skin! You may recognize this skin from the After Market Collection Event, which launched back in Season 6 during 2020. This is an especially rare skin, and we’ve only ever seen it once shortly after it was released and never again.

Synthesis Chamber

Synthesis Chamber opens up our Top 5 best Caustic skins – Legendary in rarity. The orange and deep purple outfit was introduced in Season 10’s Monsters Within event, craftable with 2,400 Crafting Metals.

Necrosis

Want to make Caustic Skin in Apex Legends look like a robot? Necrosis is the answer. Added back in Season 4 with the System Override event, the Legendary fit cost 1,800 Apex Coins or 2,400 Crafting Metals.

The Last Laugh

Here is The Last Laugh, one of the best Caustic skins in Apex Legends.
It was a close candidate for first place, but The Last Laugh was just pipped. The incredibly freaky clown look is an unexpected twist for a demonic character such as Caustic, with the Legendary skin costing 1,800 Apex Coins or 2,400 Crafting Metals throughout the 2019 Fight or Fright event.

Mad King

If you’re looking for the best Caustic skins in Apex Legends, look no further than the Mad King. As a Legendary Anniversary skin, the red, gold, and black skin – featuring a golden crown fit for a king – it will come as no surprise that its price is of premium value. It cost 1,800 Apex Coins or 2,400 Crafting Metals when it was available.

Third Emperor

All of Caustic’s other skins can step aside and make way for the emperor. This skin is so incredible. The purple and deep grey robe. The ornate nature of his accessories. The mystical incorporation of the green glow in his toxins and in his eyes. The white hair. The marred face. We can’t find a single flaw in this skin. Caustic looks like he is a mercenary or the main antagonist of a fantasy series. We would kill (in Apex Legends, of course) to see a recolor or two of this bad boy.

Will past event-related Caustic skins ever return?

While the past battle pass exclusive Caustic skins will not return to the storefront, their recolor variants could still make a return to the storefront. And the same applies to the event-related skins as well as the old the rare legendary skin recolors of the four base legendary skins.

However, starting from season 11, even battle pass skins may return to the digital store in the form of a limited-time event as confirmed by a recent dev blog made by EA.
