The Sex Lives of College Girls

The Sex Lives of College Girls is an upcoming American teen comedy-drama streaming television series created by Mindy Kaling that is set to premiere on HBO Max on November 18, 2021.

The Trailer For Mindy Kaling’s ‘The Sex Lives Of College Girls’ Is Chock Full Of ‘Ass Meat’

Are you ready to blackout with your rack out? Are you ready to show off just the right amount of ass meat? Mindy Kaling is. The prolific creator of The Mindy Project, Champions, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and Never Have I Ever just shared the trailer for her newest project, The Sex Lives of College Girls, which will premiere on HBO Max on November 18.

Going all the way back to her time on The Office—on which she was a writer and executive producer in addition to one of its stars—Kaling has been consistently redefining the rules of the female protagonist and what women can and should be allowed to talk about. And, if the title didn’t clue you in, The Sex Lives of College Girls looks to be a continuation of that trend.

The show’s official description, according to HBO Max, is as follows: “Created by Emmy®-nominated writer/producer Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, The Sex Lives of College Girls follows four college roommates as they arrive at New England’s prestigious Essex College. A bundle of contradictions and hormones, these girls are equal parts lovable and infuriating as they live out their new, free lives on campus.”

From the trailer, which you can watch above, the series definitely seems like it will dabble in Kaling’s unique style of cringe comedy, where even the most embarrassing moments can be a triumph if you treat them as such (see the treadmill scene).

The Sex Lives of College Girls will premiere exclusively on HBO Max on November 18, 2021.

Nude parties and hookups: the trailer for The Sex Lives of College Girls

Created by Mindy Kaling, the sex-positive comedy series provides a hilarious look at the trials and tribulations of being a college student

Last month, actor and writer Mindy Kaling teased her latest project, titled The Sex Lives of College Girls.

Co-created by Justin Noble (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and starring Pauline Chalamet , Amrit Kaur, Reneé Rapp, and Alyah Chanelle Scott, the HBO Max comedy series will follow four college roommates as they navigate the trials and tribulations of being a college student: relationships, parties, identity crises, and lots of sex.

Now, in anticipation of its November 18 release, the first full-length trailer is officially here – and TBH, it’s as chaotic as we expected.

Opening with a rumoured walk of shame home from the library, the trailer sees the main characters debating the attractiveness of a young Stalin, dressing up in caution tape for anything-but-clothes themed parties, and attending an unsettling sorority recruitment soirée as Doja Cat’s “Boss Bitch” plays in the background.

We also see a look into the show’s plot as Chalamet’s character, Kimberly – who hilariously gets a pillow thrown at her for saying sex should be “an expression of commitment” to someone you love – falls for the brother of her roommate – Upper East Sider Leighton, played by Rapp.
