Valorant Neptune Skins: When is release date and how much is the price?

Riot Games has always been creative with Valorant ever since its release to the PC platform in June 2020. In the upcoming 4.10 patch update, the game still manages to add in new cosmetics and will be focusing on the aquatic theme this time around. To give players cosmetics based on their set aquatic theme, Riot Games will be introducing the Neptune skin bundle, which will feature weapon skins for the in-game arsenal.

Valorant Neptune Skins

Though VALORANT is a free-to-play tactical shooter, Riot Games have launched many great-looking skins for players to feel some varieties in the game. And VALORANT has launched a massive collection of weapon cosmetics along with different skin bundles with each new update.

With every new patch, Riot Games releases a new Skin Bundle every time with Titanmail being the latest of them all which was released in the 4.09 patch. It seems like Riot Games is gonna release many more in the upcoming patches.

Neptune bundle follows an aquatic theme with interesting designs and marine-based features throughout the skins. VALORANT is releasing a new map based on an aquarium point of interest. And, it looks like Riot Games is going to make a bunch of players happy with this brand new skin bundle.

There will be 4 weapons in the Neptune bundle. These are Vandal, Guardian, Spectre, and Shorty. Apart from these skins, there will be a melee item that looks like an anchor. As mentioned earlier, the bundle will follow an aquatic theme with special touch of marine lives.

Just like every other skin bundle in Valorant, the Nepture collection will be bringing skins for a few specific weapons and a couple more things. The following are all the rewards available in the brand new skin collection:

  • Spectre weapon
  • Guardian weapon
  • Shorty weapon
  • Vandal weapon

In an official post made by Riot Games, the developers specifically urged players to get ready for “Aquarium week.” They literally brought a portable aquarium with their new skinline.

NEW “Neptune” Skin Bundle in Valorant

The Neptune skin bundle has been announced for Valorant. It contains a Melee, Shorty, Spectre, Guardian and Vandal.

What are Valorant Neptune skins?

The ocean-themed Neptune bundle isn’t anything like the Depths collection. It has live fish, seaweed, bubbling water, and sound effects. The weapons are quite literally tiny aquariums, something that Riot teased a few days ago. However, the teaser highlighted “Aquarium week,” so the Neptune collection could be the first of many surprises to come.

The guns have small compartments on top lined with metal, with fishes swimming around colorful plants. The borders are encrusted with golden piping and emblems. The vibrant pools contrast with the dark metal body of the Neptune line. While the overall look is fresh and delightful, players are primarily pleased with the special effects. Riot Games shared a video showcasing skin mechanics, and it has distinct fire audio.

The sound element is also notable, which hints that this bundle will likely land in the premium tier with the VFX finisher. The melee is another selling point of the Neptune bundle. A pickaxe-like knife completes this unique collection, which is also decorated with a golden star badge.

Neptune skins will be available for:

Guardian
Vandal
Shorty
Spectre
Melee

Which guns are getting new Neptune skins in Valorant?

Here is a look at which guns are getting these new skins in the skin line.

1: Neptune Shorty

2: Neptune Spectre

3: Neptune Guardian

4: Neptune Vandal

5: Neptune Melee/Pick Axe

The Riot Games VALORANT team continues to put out great skins. Ever since the game’s release, it has been clear that their goal is to give players a variety of different choices. This is something that they learned from the League of Legends team as both are putting out new skins basically every two weeks.

How much does the Neptune bundle cost?

If you’re unaware, Valorant skins are divided by tiers depending on several factors; more importantly, whether they come with variants, finishers, kill banners, and other cosmetic upgrades.

The skin tiers are as follows:

Select Edition
Deluxe Edition
Premium Edition
Ultra Edition
Exclusive Edition

We have confirmation that the skins will feature variants and kill banners, however, they lack any other special effects including finishers. While we don’t have confirmation, an educated guess is that they’ll fall under the Premium-tier category.

The exact cost hasn’t yet been revealed, but each gun in the Neptune collection will likely be priced at 1,775 Valorant points. The melee may cost 3,550 VP.

This would land the Neptune bundle among some of the pricier skin options in Valorant. For big spenders, these will likely be worth the price.

Valorant Neptune bundle – Release date

Valorant is continuously adding new content to keep players engaged. The skin collection will hit the Valorant in-game store on 25th May, replacing the Titanmail bundle permanently. Once it arrives, you’ll have three or four weeks to get your hands on the skins you like.

Following that period, the only way for you to get any cosmetic from the Neptune bundle will be to wait for a skin to show up on your daily rotating store items or, if you’re lucky, get it in a Night Market offer.

It looks like Valorant Neptune skins could be a nice addition to anyone’s collection, however, we’re personally eager to get our hands on the fantastic-looking anchor melee weapon.

Will Valorant ever have skins?

Unlike other popular multi-shooter games, Valorant doesn’t have special skins to change and customize Agent appearance – at least for now. What they do offer is a collection of skins that can modify and enhance the way that weapons look and feel while playing the game.

Do skins do anything in Valorant?

In conclusion, skins don’t directly impact gameplay, but they sure trick your mind into believing that you have an “aimbot.” Most Valorant skins share the same audio cues, so you don’t have to buy every new skin to get a booster.

Are skins in Valorant limited?

Valorant skins can only be bought in one place – via the in-game store. A collection of the latest skins will be placed in the spotlight for a week or so, but individual skins are refreshed every single day. You can also earn some skins through the game’s battle pass.
