What is Offense Up?

Offense Up is a buff status effect that a character can gain in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes. When a character has Offense Up, it means their damage output is increased.

How much does Offense Up increase damage?
By default, Offense Up increases a character’s damage by 50%. So a hit that would normally do 10,000 damage will instead do 15,000 damage with Offense Up.

How is Offense Up applied?
Characters gain Offense Up through abilities, gear bonuses and leader abilities. For example:

– General Kenobi’s leader ability grants all allies Offense Up at the start of encounters.
– Aayla Secura’s basic ability has a chance to grant Offense Up to a random ally.
– Clone Sergeant’s zeta ability grants all Clone Trooper allies Offense Up.

Countering Offense Up:
Offense Up can be countered by:

– Tenacity – Reduces the duration of Offense Up and other negative status effects.
– Ability Block / Ability Daze – Prevents characters from gaining new buffs.
– Dispel – Removes existing buffs like Offense Up from characters.

Tips:

– Focus on dispelling or ability blocking characters that can grant Offense Up to shutdown their damage potential.
– Prioritize attacking characters with Offense Up first to avoid taking excessive damage.
– Use characters with Tenacity to reduce how long Offense Up lasts on your squad.
