A version for Nintendo Switch is planned for later this year. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was announced in 2019, and was originally expected in 2021. Daedalic Entertainment delayed the game to 2022, but had not communicated a firm release date before Tuesday’s news release.

Daedalic Entertainment officially announced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be releasing on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X on September 1, 2022. While the adventure is still set to also launch on Switch, the developer confirmed it will be coming to Nintendo’s console “later in the year”.
