What is SFFpit?

That’s the challenge set forth by #SFFpit, a twice-annual Twitter pitching contest. Unlike Brenda Drake’s #PitMad, this contest is only for works of fantasy or science fiction. All age categories (PB, MG, YA, NA, and adult) are welcome. The next #SFFpit will take place July 28th, 2021.

How do you use PitMad?

To participate in #PitMad:
Tweet your submission guidelines for those writers whose tweets you favorite/like, including where to send, how much to send, and preferred email subject line.
Favorite/like the tweets you’d like to see pages from.

How do you pitch a twitter book?

The 35-word pitch or logline for your story must be exciting and pull your reader in. One to two catchy sentences that grab your reader’s attention. Use generalities, don’t use name of things that the agents won’t understand. Don’t use rhetorical questions.
