Halo Infinite ‘Collector’s Edition’ Quietly Revealed By Walmart

While an official announcement about this has to yet to arrive, Walmart quietly revealed the existence of a Halo Infinite Collector’s Edition yesterday, which is limited to 10,000 units and very quickly went “out of stock” on the website.

As highlighted by Windows Central, the bundle was retailing for $170 and was only briefly available to order, so it looks like it was just put on sale a bit too early — either that, or the demand was ridiculously high for it.

Assuming it gets an official unveiling and returns in the near future, then, here’s what you can expect:

Working with 343 Industries, the men’s natural soap company has made this special limited-edition soap that is designed to help you both feel your freshest and energize you for the day ahead. Halo Infinite is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S.

The sixth main entry of the Halo series, it continues the story of the Master Chief, following Halo 5: Guardians (2015). Unlike previous installments in the series, the multiplayer portion of the game will be free-to-play.

Infinite was planned to be released as a launch title with the Xbox Series X/S on November 10, 2020, but was delayed in August 2020. It is now planned for release on December 8, 2021.

343 Industries

343 Industries is an American video game developer and a studio of Xbox Game Studios based in Redmond, Washington.

Headed by Bonnie Ross, the studio is responsible for the Halo series of military science fiction games, originally created and produced by Bungie, and is the developer of the Slipspace Engine. Named after the Halo character 343 Guilty Spark, the studio was established in 2007 after the departure of Bungie.
