BACHELOR star Clayton Echard admits in an explosive teaser trailer for the upcoming season that he had sex and fell in love with BOTH top two finalists.

The trailer, shared by fan Instagram account @bachelornation.scoop, spans throughout the season, showing the star on various dates and kissing several women.

At one point, he confesses to someone that he’s “falling in love with” her before telling another woman: “I love you.”

The trailer concludes with Clayton opening up to his finalists – whom you can find out more about here – confessing: “I want to be fully, fully transparent and I know it’s not easy to hear, but I was intimate with both of you.”

Both women are then shown storming off and crying.

In a confessional interview, Clayton says: “I’m so broken” through tears.

Clayton’s season of The Bachelor was marred by controversy before it even began.

The reality star originally appeared as a contestant on Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette.

Hey, so remember when the vibe in Bachelor Nation re: Clayton Echard was one of WHY HIM? To recap: fans were initially questioning the choice to cast Clayton and gearing up for what everyone assumed would be a zzzz season, but ABC appears to have dropped the horniest trailer ever in response.

The network gave us a lengthy look at Clayton’s season, and the footage mostly consists of makeout scenes, plus some exploding champagne (we see what you did there, ABC Trailer Editor). Like, I simply wasn’t prepared for this much tongue at 8:00 AM on a Tuesday, but here we are!

Most brow-raising of all, though, is the fact that Clayton casually told two contestants that he—to quote the man himself—”was intimate with both of you.” (Note: this was after he informed multiple women that he was either falling in love or was in love with them.)

So yeah, to recap, this season seems to largely consist of Clayton making out with people, having tons of sex, and then awkwardly announcing said sex to his several contestants who clearly make it pretty far. Because apparently the show is now spoiling itself?

To quote one weeping contestant hiding behind what appears to be a massive house plant, “WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK.”

Clayton, an NFL player, broke down in tears as he was sent home in the middle of a one-on-one date.

Fans called him “fake” and “dull,” with one writing on Instagram: “This obvious attempt to play up Clayton left me nauseous the entire episode. Boring as hell and so contrived.”

Several viewers compared him to Colton Underwood, and not in a nice way.

While fans didn’t like him, insiders told Us Weekly at the time: “Clayton stood out right off the bat.

“Producers ended up going with him because they believed he was the best fit for the role.

“They wanted to switch things up and go with someone new and someone who hasn’t been in the spotlight yet.”

Clayton Echard is an American sales representative and former football player.

(born April 29, 1993)

He is best known for his appearances as a contestant on season 18 of The Bachelorette, and as the star of season 26 of The Bachelor.

Clayton hails from Eureka, Missouri.

He played football for the Missouri Tigers in 2012 and was drafted by the NFL four years later.

In 2016 he was signed to the Seattle Seahawks.

He left the NFL, however, and worked in orthopedic sales before making his reality show debut.

Clayton began filming The Bachelor before the season of The Bachelorette on which he appeared aired.

The season 26 trailer premiered during The Bachelorette’s Men Tell All special Monday night. Co-host and former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe describes the former NFL player’s upcoming season as “crazy,” “emotional,” “wild,” and one that “very well could be the most dramatic season ever.”

As the teaser opens, a few of the contestants run on the beach in red one-piece bathing suits toward an eager Echard, who is waiting down on the sand.

“I’m a midwest boy from Missouri that just wants to find love,” Echard explains in the clip. “And I can’t wait to get married and have kids. I believe more than anything that my future wife is here.”

The teaser features several other steamy moments between Echard and his multiple contestants in several locations, including under a waterfall, on top of a pool table, and in a canoe. Fans also get a look at some of the other dates that Echard will embark on this season.

“These women are phenomenal at this point,” Echard says before asking, “How much luckier can one man get? I know ‘the one’ is in here. I know she is. They are all perfect in their own ways.”

The dramatic look at season 26 of the Bachelor comes after the orthopedic sales rep confirmed earlier this month that he “did find love” while on the ABC show.

“I was a little skeptical going into the whole journey, but I’m so pleasantly surprised that things worked out much different than I thought,” Clayton said on Good Morning America on Wednesday, December 1. “Again, I’m just so excited to watch it back and have everyone else watch it as well.”

Clayton noted that he felt “incredibly honored and just humbled” during the filming journey.

“There were so many things that I learned. I think the biggest one would be becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable, and stepping out of that comfort zone. It really challenged me to grow as an individual,” the University of Missouri grad added. “It has been quite the journey.”
