Where Is Destiny 2 Xur Today

Where Is Destiny 2 Xur Today? What Are Xur Exotic And Legendary Items?

It’s a new weekend, which means every Guardian’s favorite shady Destiny 2 vendor is back at a new location. Xur is waiting to sell you a new exotic or two, and even offer up his cipher quest if you’re in need of another weapon from the exotic archive. Here’s where to find Xur’s location on May 6.

Destiny 2 Xur Today

Destiny 2 is starting to edge closer to Season 17, but Season of the Risen is still in full swing — and it’s time to check in with Xur again.

Every Friday, Xur returns to Destiny 2 in a new location and offers Guardians a chance to grab an exotic weapon and some new exotic armor rolls in-game, along with his exclusive cipher quest that you need to complete in order to claim an old exotic weapon from the Monument to Lost Lights.

Xur will be back in Destiny 2 this week, and he’s due to set up shop in a different location with a whole new stock on offer to Guardians. In fact, as of Season of the Lost, he can now sell a series of Legendary items, too — adding a new dimension to the mysterious vendor.

Destiny 2: RARE SUNSET WEAPON FOR SALE! | Xur Location & Inventory (May 6 – 9)

Where is Xur Today in Destiny 2? (May 6 – 9) We’re looking at the Xur Location & Inventory! We have a Rare Sunset Weapon, A couple of nearly God Rolls, and GREAT Armor!

Who is Xur in Destiny 2?

If you’re new to Destiny 2 and need a bit more information about how this works, you should know that Xur is a special vendor who sells exotic weapons and armor. Each week, he comes to the solar system with a slate of goods, including an exotic weapon and one piece of exotic armor for each character class. As of The Witch Queen, he now stocks legendary armor and weapons and sells additional exotic weapons with random rolls every week.

Where to find Xur (May 6 to May 10)

The trouble with Xur is finding him. We always know when Xur will show up — at the 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET reset each Friday. The question is where Xur will be. Previously in Destiny 2, Xur’s location was marked on the map. He’s now unmarked and harder to find each weekend. Here’s where to go to track down Xur, the Agent of the Nine, as well as everything you need to know about what he’s offering this week.

This week, you can find Xur on the EDZ. Load into the Winding Cove landing zone and head straight north from there. You’ll eventually reach a rocky cliffside, which you can jump up. Xur will be perched at the top of that cliff, ready to sell you some exotics.

Xur’s locations are random and he can show up at any of the three locations, the locations are Social-Hangar, Winding Cove on EDZ, and Tree on Watcher’s Grave at Nessus. Please note, that this was changed with the new DLC arrival (Beyond Light), the planets IO and Titan have been taken off the game. Initially, we expected Xur to arrive in new locations, but that didn’t happen. We probably need more locations to get sunset before Xur gets a new Friday home.

Xur Exotic and Legendary Items

You can get Skyburner’s Oath from Xur this week, a solid anti-Cabal weapon that is about to get a lot better, thanks to some upcoming sandbox changes from Bungie. It offers two firing modes, one of which tracks enemies, and it’ll also be useful for future Airborne Effectiveness builds. It’s a reliable gun for auto rifle fans, with the added benefit of allowing you to change the element type of its ammo, meaning the gun can cut through any kind of enemy shield–perfect for those activities that feature the Equipment Lock modification.

If you’re not a fan of his other options, Xur also sells an Exotic engram that will decrypt into an Exotic you don’t already own from the world drop pool. Just note that you can only buy one per week, and the engram is specific to the character class who buys it–so if you’re trying to get a new Titan helmet, don’t buy the engram with your Warlock. He also has the new Xenology Quest, which rewards an Exotic Cipher you can use to purchase Exotics from either Xur or the Tower’s Monument to Lost Lights. The quest requires you to either complete Strikes or win matches in Gambit and the Crucible.

  • Exotic Engram – 97 legendary shards
  • Skyburner’s Oath – 29 legendary shards
  • Celestial Nighthawk – 23 legendary shards
  • Heart of Inmost Light – 23 legendary shards
