Halsey took streetwear to a whole new level when she stepped out in Manhattan ahead of their Saturday Night Live performance this weekend.

On Thursday, the singer wore a black glittering gown with a hood and plunging neckline that dipped down to their midsection, revealing a keyhole cutout at the belly button.

Halsey’s black fringed pixie cut (as well as their long diamond drop earrings) peeked out from beneath the dress’s hood, and she accessorized with oversized sunglasses, a matching face mask, and studded platform heels.

The new mother is taking a break from mom duty for the highly-anticipated SNL show with host Kim Kardashian West this weekend. Halsey welcomed their baby boy Ender Ridley Aydin in July with their boyfriend Alev Aydin.

And shortly after his arrival, the pop star got candid about their postpartum body, showing off their stretch marks on Instagram — a move that was highly praised by fans. “Well…this is what it look like ?,” she captioned the photo, to which one follower commented: “Wear those tiger stripes proud mama!! Love to see it!” Another added, “Finally a celebrity who shows imperfections after childbirth instead of a perfect toned body right after. You’re such a badass!!”

The new season of Saturday Night Live began last weekend with country-pop singer Kacey Musgraves being the first musical guest on the new episode of the 47th season.

This week’s episode, which airs on 9 October, features Halsey as the musical guest.

Halsey, born Ashley Frangipane, is an American singer and songwriter who gained much attention after their self released music gained masses of fans on social media. Halsey was later signed by Astralwerks in 2014.

Halsey’s debut album, Badlands arrived in 2015 and was certified Double Platinum by the RIAA. The follow up, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom arrived in 2017 while the third studio album, Manic arrived in 2020 and it was the singer’s best-selling album to date.

Halsey’s poppier sound was left behind on their latest album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, which had a darker, more industrial sound that was produced by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

Back in 2020, Billboard reported that Halsey had sold over one million albums and received over six million streams in the US.

Halsey looked fabulous when they rocked a plunging V-neck black sparkly gown before their ‘SNL’ performance in NYC.

Halsey, 27, looked sexier than ever when they headed to NBC studios in NYC to film her Saturday Night Live performance on October 7. The singer opted to show off major skin when they rocked a black Christian Cowan Spring 2022 Hooded Black Plunging Neckline Embellished Dress. The sequin long-sleeve gown was skintight and featured a low-cut V-neckline that ended all the way at their waist.

Halsey topped their look off with a sheer black veil, a black face mask, platform heels, and a pair of sunglasses. They also showed off their new hairstyle which featured blunt front bangs.

Halsey has already rocked a slew of plunging looks for their performance and another one of our favorite looks was their low-cut metallic brown gown that showed off ample cleavage and was cinched in at the waist. Similar to their black gown, the dress had a hood that was attached and draped over their head.
