Adele opened up about her relationship with new boyfriend Rich Paul during a televised interview.

The singer participated in a sit-down conversation with Oprah Winfrey for an event titled One Night Only, which aired on CBS in the US on Sunday.

During the sit-down, Adele dished on the particulars of her relationship with sports agent Rich Paul.

During the interview, Adele, 33, discussed the breakdown of her marriage to Simon Konecki, but also shed light on her new relationship with sports agent Paul, 39.

It was the first time Adele has publicly discussed Paul since officially announcing their relationship via an Instagram photo in September.

Adele recently offered insight into her relationship with sports agent Rich Paul, who represents basketball superstar LeBron James.

She revealed to Rolling Stone that she met Paul on a blind date following her divorce from Simon Konecki, telling the magazine: “You can’t set me up on a f***ing blind date! I’m like, ‘How’s that going to work?’”

They initially met a few years ago at a mutual friend’s birthday before reconnecting earlier this year after her father passed away from bowel cancer.

Adele has also introduced Paul to her son Angelo.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey which aired on Sunday (14 November) in the US, Adele further discussed the relationship, saying she doesn’t treat love “like a game anymore”.

When Winfrey asked her what she really wants, Adele replied she’s seeking peace of mind and stability. “But I don’t have to expect someone else to give me stability,” she added.

Rich Paul was born in Cleveland, Ohio and after leaving high school began selling vintage basketball jerseys out of his car.

Paul first met LeBron James in 2002 and sold him a Magic Johnson jersey.
Paul is also an active philanthropist, launching Klutch Conversations in partnership with Chance the Rapper’s charity SocialWorks. The organisation aims to empower young people through art, education and sport.

Rich Paul, Adele’s Boyfriend and One of the Biggest Sports Agents in the NBA

The tables are turning for pop superstar Adele, who—despite keeping a low profile following her divorce from Simon Konecki, which was finalized in March 2021—appears to have found love stateside.

On July 24, she and sports agent Rich Paul were seen out on a date at NYC hotspot Cipriani; The Sun obtained photos. The PDA-filled photos seemed to confirm the romance, which was also confirmed by Page Six on July 20.

Only a few days before the Page Six post, they were seen together for the first time. On July 17, British singer was spotted laughing and cheering alongside Paul at Game 5 of the NBA Finals, in which the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Phoenix Suns.

Paul was apparently there alongside his client LeBron James to support friend Chris Paul, a player for the Suns. On a late-night podcast following the game’s conclusion, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst seemingly confirmed the relationship between Paul and the “Rolling in the Deep” singer.

“Rich Paul brings his girlfriend to the game to sit next to LeBron. His girlfriend is Adele,” Windhorst said. “This is the first time that they’ve come out in public together.”

He’s one of the biggest agents in sports.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, in the neighborhood of Glenville, 40-year-old Paul became a sports agent after meeting a teenaged James at the Akron-Canton Airport in 2002. Paul was wearing a Houston Oilers jersey that caught James’s eye, and the two of them stayed in touch, eventually becoming such close confidantes that Paul went to work at Creative Artists Agency, under James’s then-agent Leon Rose. Developing a strong business savvy, he was eventually able to strike out on his own.

In that chat, Matten, who’s a co-author of The Sirtfood Diet with Aidan Goggins, MSc NutrMed, was said to have told the outlet that around 2016 when she first set out to get healthier, Adele had owned a membership for KX Private Member’s Club. KX is said to be a posh members-only gym in Chelsea, London.

Adele debuted three new songs from her upcoming album ’30’ during her TV special last night (November 14) – watch her perform ‘I Drink Wine’, ‘Hold On’ and ‘Love Is A Game’ below.

The special, titled Adele: One Night Only, aired on CBS last night and included live performances from the singer – debuting songs from ‘30’ live for the first time – as well as a new sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, billed as her “first televised wide-ranging conversation about her new album, the stories behind the songs, life after divorce, weight loss and raising her son”.

In the performance part of the show, she performed a full version of ‘Hold On’, a song she has been teasing in a trailer for the special as well as an Amazon Christmas advert, alongside full debuts of new tracks ‘I Drink Wine’ and ‘Love Is A Game’.
