Russian Chess-Playing Robot BREAKS Child’s Finger

A chess-playing robot grabbed and broke a boy’s finger during a match in a Russian chess tournament.

Officials pinned the blame on the child for “violating safety rules”, allegedly making his move before the robot had completed its turn.

But the president of the Moscow Chess Federation admitted “this is of course bad” and that the robot’s suppliers were going to have to “think again”.
