Who is Andrew Benintendi

Andrew Sebastian Benintendi is an American professional baseball outfielder for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB).

He previously played for the Boston Red Sox from 2016 through 2020 and the Kansas City Royals from 2021 until 2022.

Benintendi played college baseball for the Arkansas Razorbacks of the University of Arkansas. The Red Sox selected Benintendi in the first round of the 2015 MLB draft, and he made his MLB debut with the Red Sox in 2016. He was a part of the 2018 World Series champions. The Red Sox traded Benintendi to the Royals after the 2020 season. He won a Gold Glove Award in 2021 and was an All-Star in 2022. The Yankees acquired him from the Royals in 2022.
