Palworld v1.0.3: The Latest Pocketpair Update
Pocketpair drops Palworld v1.0.3 today with Jetragon tech unlock reductions, World Tree Holy Water buffs, and a long list of bug fixes across all platforms. Pocketpair has pushed out the v1.0.3 update for Palworld today, August 12, and it covers a lot of ground. This isn’t a headline feature drop, but the kind of patch that quietly fixes things that have been quietly annoying players since the 1.0 launch.

Progression, Technology, and Jetragon Changes
Jetragon tech is now accessible earlier, World Tree Holy Water got a serious buff, and a bunch of crashes and progression blockers are finally gone. Changed the unlock level of some Jetragon-related technologies from 79 to 70, and reduced the materials required for the Pal Gear used to ride Jetragon. Changed the technology unlock level of the Aquatic Construction Kit from Level 66 to Level 23, changed its Ancient Technology Point requirement from 4 to 1, and adjusted the required materials and work amount.
World Tree Holy Water Buffs
Pocketpair just dropped Palworld 1.0.3, and it fixes one of 1.0’s biggest endgame frustrations: World Tree Holy Water. Extended the duration of World Tree Holy Water. Reduced the weight of World Tree Holy Water from 1 to 0.1. Added World Tree Holy Water to the rewards for World Tree expeditions, World Tree fishing, and the Large Fishing Pond. Increased the amount of World Tree Holy Water obtained from Pals in The World Tree area. Increased the amount of World Tree Holy Water obtained from Teafant Spring. Added a sound effect when using World Tree Holy Water.
Bases, Missions, and Quality of Life
Reduced the building costs of the Crude Oil Extractor, High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor, and Large Power Generator. Increased the crude oil production speed of the Crude Oil Extractor and High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor. The base mission that requires building a Crude Oil Extractor can now also be progressed by building a High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor. Added a server setting (bAllowEnemyCampSpawnNearBaseCamp) that disables the suppression of enemy camp spawns near player base camps. Adjusted the boundary display in some areas to make it easier to see from a distance. Improved the display quality of some objects in dungeons.
Major Bug Fixes & The 1.0.1 Patch Recap
Fixed an issue on PS5 where the game could crash when a user with parental controls enabled opened the Global Palbox under certain conditions. Fixed an issue on Xbox One / Xbox One S where the game could crash when moving near some Field Bosses in The World Tree area. The 1.0.1 Patch for Palworld has arrived, bringing with it a couple of small bug fixes to improve game performance and overall stability. Fixed an issue where save data could be unintentionally discarded after certain operations. Fixed an issue where the burning status could continue after touching a campfire.
