From crucial bug fixes to terrifying new aerial threats, here is everything you need to know about the latest ARC Raiders patch notes, current gameplay shifts, and the upcoming new ARC Raiders map.

ARC Raiders Patch Notes 1.24.0: Crucial Fixes and Shop Updates

While it isn’t a massive content drop, the ARC Raiders new update focuses heavily on stability and quality-of-life changes as the team prepares for a major late-April release. According to the official ARC Raiders patch notes, update 1.24.0 brings the Nascosto Set and the Scrappy Speckled Set to the shop.

Key fixes and changes in the 1.24.0 patch include:

  • Crash Fixes: Resolved several issues that could cause the game to crash.
  • Visual Polish: Fixed a bug where the Vanguard Set caused model stretching for other players, and corrected blurry visuals when AMD FSR Frame Generation was enabled.
  • Audio Tweaks: Fixed an issue where players and ARC machines sounded quieter than intended when there was no line of sight on Stella Montis.
  • Gameplay Adjustments: Fixed an edge case where ziplines could be placed on carriables near ledges, and stopped hold-to-use items (like bandages) from activating automatically during a quick slot swap interruption.

Embark Studios also noted that players who contributed to the Weather Monitor Station Project but missed the completion deadline will find their rewards in their in-game inbox in the coming days. Additionally, a warning was issued to players: the High-Gain Antenna Project will expire right before the Riven Tides update hits, so wrap it up while you can!

Surviving the Flashpoint Update: Shredders and Blueprint Nerfs

If you’ve been playing recently, you’ve already felt the heavy impact of the Flashpoint update. This mid-tier content drop changed the meta by unleashing Shredders—one of the game’s deadliest enemy types—across multiple maps. Once confined to specific locations, Shredder invasions have turned previously safe farming routes into terrifying, high-risk extraction runs.

Flashpoint also tweaked overall map conditions, particularly introducing Hurricane weather events that led to a nerf in blueprint farming. Instead of easily racking up blueprints, the game now pushes players toward gathering high-tier crafting materials, resulting in a slower but more balanced progression curve.

Meanwhile, players are still actively engaging in what the community has dubbed the “Mushroom Wars,” fighting tooth and nail in PvP hotspots over rare organic resources required to progress through Expedition 3 requirements.

The Riven Tides Update: A New Map and Terrifying UFO Boss

Embark Studios has confirmed that there will be no patches next week as the team goes “full steam ahead” polishing the ARC Raiders Riven Tides update, launching April 28.

Teasers hidden in emailed “scout reports” have officially confirmed the details of the new ARC Raiders map. Long rumored to be a coastal biome, the new seaside paradise will feature POIs like the abandoned Panorama Azzuro (Exodus Hotel), complete with a rooftop bar; a waterpark Beachbar/Pool area; and a Stacking Yard packed with shipping containers designed for vertical traversal and loaded with mechanical parts.

However, the biggest reveal hints at the next mega-boss. The scout’s journal notes hearing “something overhead,” heavily pointing to a massive flying enemy. While players have grown accustomed to fighting giant, spider-like land bosses like the Matriarch ARC Raiders encounter, Riven Tides seems poised to introduce a colossal UFO boss. Players have reported seeing a terrifying, massive UFO soaring through the clouds since the Shrouded Sky update, and it looks like this flying nightmare is finally descending to the beach.

With deadly aerial bosses, unpredictable map conditions, and the new map ARC Raiders fans have been begging for, April 28 can’t come soon enough.
