Put simply, NFTs are proof of a digital item\u2019s uniqueness. When you acquire Axies to begin playing, those characters, along with their traits, belong to you and no one else.<\/p>\n<p>So, not only do you own the characters you play with, but you also earn cryptocurrency for playing. They\u2019re priced in Ethereum (ETH) tokens and range from very cheap (0.01 ETH\/$40 USD) to unattainably expensive (5,00,000 ETH\/$20.5B USD).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4>Is Axie Infinity profitable?<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Blockchain-based games<\/strong> have seen exponential growth over the past year. And, most of it has been led by one major name, Axie Infinity \u2014 a digital universe where players can battle, breed, and upgrade their Pokemon-like pets.<\/p>\n<p>However, a new report by gaming consultancy firm Naavik suggests that Axie Infinity may not be as lucrative as previously thought. Most of its players may not even be earning the minimum wage.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, with new user growth slowing down, it\u2019s possible that Axie Infinity may be sent into a recession.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>What is Axie Infinity Crypto and AXS tokens<\/h2>\n<h6>AXS tokens are a finite resource; there are only 270,000,000 in the game.
