Raids<\/strong> are an essential part of the Pokemon Go<\/strong> experience, and each month there\u2019s a new set of Pokemon<\/strong> ranging from common 1-Stars to rare 5-Star Legendaries to battle and potentially catch. Here\u2019s the current line-up of Raid bosses<\/strong> for March 2022.<\/p>\n

March is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokemon Go players<\/strong>. There\u2019s a Community Day starring Sandshrew, loads of new Alola region Pokemon debuting, and of course, a new set of Spotlight Hour stars to look forward to.<\/p>\n

As for Raids, Trainers will be able to encounter a brand new Legendary, the Alola region\u2019s Tapu Koko, in 5-Star Raid Battles<\/strong>! Then, later in March, they\u2019ll once again get the chance to add Therian Forme Tornadus to their collection.<\/p>\n

It also appears that there will only be one Mega-evolved Pokemon<\/strong> appearing in Mega Raids<\/strong> at a time from now on, so it may have just become more difficult to get the Mega Energy you need.<\/p>\n

Pokemon Go Raid Boss schedule March 2022<\/h2>\n

Niantic have revealed the March schedule for Raids, and there are some exciting battles to be had! Most notable is the debut of Tapu Koko, the Electric\/Fairy-type Legendary<\/strong> that first appeared in Sun and Moon.<\/p>\n

Now that the Season of Alola has arrived, the Raid Bosses<\/strong> have changed once again, with the likes of Dusclops, Mawile, Rhydon, Galarian Zigzagoon, and Sneasel being available to battle.<\/p>\n

Mega Raids<\/strong> and 5-Star Raids will follow the schedule above, but 1-Star and 3-Star Raids<\/strong> often change at random, especially during special events. Check back regularly for the latest Raid opportunities!<\/p>\n

When do Raid Hours take place?<\/h4>\n

Each week, Niantic hosts a special Raid Hour takes place to allow players a better chance at catching the current 5-Star Raid Pokemon<\/strong>. All of the gyms that have Raids in them will be 5-Star, so that\u2019s Tapu Koko right now.<\/p>\n

Raid Hours take place every Wednesday from 6PM to 7PM, and you won\u2019t have to worry about time zones as it will always be your local time. This is the perfect chance to get out there and catch yourself a Legendary.<\/p>\n

What are Raid Battles in Pokemon Go?<\/h4>\n

Raid Battles<\/strong> occur when a Boss Pokemon<\/strong> takes over a Gym. You can find them by walking around local Gyms and keeping an eye out for eggs that are about to hatch, or Boss Pokemon<\/strong> that are part of a currently ongoing Raid.<\/p>\n

These Pokemon<\/strong> are very powerful, so it\u2019s recommended that you team up with a few other trainers in order to secure a victory. There are four tiers: 1-Star, 3-Star, 5-Star, and Mega Raids<\/strong>. The higher the tier, the harder the battle.<\/p>\n

Raid Battles<\/strong> are worth the time and effort to complete, though. As well as earning special items, you\u2019ll also get a chance to catch the Pokemon<\/strong> you beat. In the case of 5-Star Raids<\/strong>, these will be Legendaries you can\u2019t get anywhere else.<\/p>\n
