What is the best SMG in Warzone?<\/h2>\n

The MP40 is one of the best SMG in the current Warzone<\/strong> meta.
The best SMG in Warzone<\/strong> right now is the MP40. This Vanguard gun has an extremely fast TTK and also has incredible mobility making it a top-tier pick on both Caldera and Rebirth Island.<\/p>\n

Its dominance during Season 3 can be seen in its popularity, as according to WZRanked<\/strong>, it has a 7.51% pick rate. This makes it the most used SMG<\/strong> in the current meta.<\/p>\n

P40<\/strong>
The MP40 is the hard meta right now. There is no other better SMG<\/strong>, and this coupled with the Bren should be on at least one of your loadouts. The MP40 has a stunning TTK, and it sits in a great sweet spot for SMGs between high-mobility and mid-range capability.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Welgun VG<\/strong>
The Welgun is really strong. In fact, it might be the best SMG<\/strong> on paper because it has the best TTK between 0 and 20 m. But the problem with the Welgun? It just doesn’t have the handling stats you need to be able to finesse other players and get the most out of an SMG<\/strong>. Also, it has an ugly magazine that blocks a huge portion of the screen, and a punishing trade-off to get good range.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Owen Gun (VG)<\/strong>
The Owen SMG can be configured to remove that blasted mag sticking out the top, don’t worry. Although it doesn’t have the mobility or rate of fire that other SMGs<\/strong> have, it’s one of the most capable weapons in this class for mid-range gunfights.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PPSh-41 (VG)<\/strong>
The new and improved PPSh is far better than it’s BOCW equivalent. It has 71 round mags, which we love, and a nutty rate of fire. Together, these attributes produce one of the best spray-and-pray machines we’ve ever seen. It is strictly limited to close-range, but in that domain it absolutely shreds.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Milano (BOCW)<\/strong>
If you were reading this in early 2021, you might have thought we were mad, and rightly so. The Milano would easily have been F-tier if it wasn’t for the mid-summer buffs to its damage. Since then, something bizarre has happened, and the Milano has jumped up into the mid-range meta. Yes, that’s right.<\/p>\n
