He later appears in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII works Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, Last Order: Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and, most significantly, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, a prequel to the original game of which he is the main character, and which expands greatly on his backstory.<\/p>\n<h2>Are Zack and Cloud the same person in Final Fantasy?<\/h2>\n<p>In <strong>Final Fantasy VII<\/strong>, <strong>Zack<\/strong> only appears in flashback sequences that portray him as almost identical to Cloud Strife, but the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII expands upon his character. <strong>Zack<\/strong> is a 1st Class SOLDIER and Cloud&#8217;s best friend during their time working for the Shinra Electric Power Company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zack<\/strong> is tall, well-built, and has the iconic sky-blue &#8220;mako eyes&#8221; common to SOLDIER members. Zack&#8217;s appearance changes during Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. He starts with spiky black hair with several bangs framing his face and wears a dark blue SOLDIER uniform (even if most 2nd Class members wear red and magenta), gloves, boots, and is equipped with a standard SOLDIER sword.<\/p>\n<p>After being promoted he wears a black 1st Class SOLDIER uniform, and gains the Buster Sword as well as an X-shaped scar on his cheek. His spiky hair grows out and becomes wilder with a single lock of hair hanging down in front of his face. He now has a silver stud earring in his left ear.<\/p>\n<p>While in Costa del Sol, <strong>Zack<\/strong> wears black shorts with a white cord and a yellow design and wields a parasol for a makeshift weapon.<\/p>\n<h3>Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade (PS5) &#8211; All Zack Fair Scenes in 4K 60\u1da0\u1d56\u02e2<\/h3>\n<p>Its cool to see that the <strong>Zack Fair<\/strong> cutscenes (minus the end scene) are in-game and are now in 60fps thanks to the &#8220;Performance&#8221; mode on the PS5 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade<\/p>\n<p>FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE is coming to PlayStation 5 on June 10th 2021, a visually enhanced edition of the critically acclaimed and award winning game, featuring a brand new episode featuring Yuffie as the main character, and numerous gameplay additions for players to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Experience the city of Midgar like never before, with improved textures, lighting and atmospheric fog. This adventure brings new perspective to the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE story that cannot be missed.<\/p>\n<p>The world has fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet&#8217;s very life force as mako energy. In the sprawling city of Midgar, an anti-Shinra organization calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their resistance. <strong>Cloud Strife<\/strong>, a former member of Shinra&#8217;s elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the group, unaware of the epic consequences that await him. As his character grew over the course of development, he morphed into a double for Cloud. The symbolism behind the comparison of these characters is clear from their surnames, Fair and Strife, which are intentionally meant to evoke opposing imagery. <strong>Zack<\/strong> also became somewhat of a fan favorite, with a particular interest in his relationship with Aerith.<\/p>\n<p>However, everything released up until the remake had a definitive death date for <strong>Zack<\/strong>, so his story ultimately ended at the same point. Final <strong>Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2<\/strong> is going to deliver a brand-new story in terms of where Zack goes next, which adds even more to the already soaring anticipation around this game. Other huge questions about Part 2 of the remake concern the fates of Aerith and Sephiroth in particular, as well as the rest of the cast of characters. Since <strong>Aerith<\/strong>, <strong>Cloud<\/strong>, and <strong>Sephiroth<\/strong> all have close ties to <strong>Zack<\/strong>, his survival will likely heavily influence the direction of these characters&#8217; stories.<\/p>\n<p>Zack&#8217;s original importance and his revival in the remake elucidate how deep and twisting the lore of these games are. <strong>Zack<\/strong> still evokes mystery though, as he did in the original game. Only now it is not only the memory of him that lives in <strong>Cloud<\/strong> that is important, but the actual character himself. His metaphorical rise from the dead opens so many doors for the second part of the remake that it is hard to predict where <strong>Zack&#8217;s story<\/strong> will go, but his survival is undoubtedly going to have some absolutely huge ramifications in the next game.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>How Is Zack Alive In Final Fantasy 7 Remake?<\/h5>\n<p>That&#8217;s about it for <strong>Zack\u2019s tale<\/strong> in the original timeline. Zack\u2019s mind was grafted onto Cloud\u2019s so the latter could cope with his trauma, and Zack\u2019s spirit looked on from the Lifestream. Aside from a couple cameos in Advent Children, and a crossover appearance in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, <strong>Zack<\/strong> didn\u2019t really do anything else in his home series. All of that is about to change, however, as the ending of <strong>Final Fantasy 7 Remake<\/strong> has done the unthinkable and brought Zack back to life as a result of Sephiroth pitting the protagonists against fate itself.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not exactly clear what\u2019s happened as of yet, but the audience has enough clues to piece together a mostly complete picture. Thanks to the Whispers\u2019 defeat at Cloud and co.\u2019s hands, the timeline has been irrevocably altered. <strong>Zack<\/strong>, along with some members of Avalanche, are now alive in a period where they would normally be dead. Zack is seen successfully repelling Shinra\u2019s forces in the FF7R ending, and he and an injured Cloud walk past the party on their way out of Midgar, the two groups presumably occupying parallel timelines at that moment. An altered Stamp poster is shown to indicate that Zack\u2019s timeline is different from the party\u2019s, but that doesn\u2019t explain what happens at the end of Intergrade\u2019s DLC.<\/p>\n<h6>Is Aerith in love with Zack?<\/h6>\n<p>Zack had only a small role in the original <strong>Final Fantasy VII<\/strong>. It is at this point that Aerith explains <strong>Zack<\/strong> was her first love. Cloud later realizes that some of his memories and even aspects of his personality were actually Zack\u2019s, and not his own.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not exactly possible to \u201cromance\u201d <strong>Aerith in Final Fantasy 7 Remake<\/strong>, but by giving her the most attention and growing closer to her, it\u2019s possible to unlock Aerith\u2019s Resolution Scene in Chapter 14. As the two continue to grow closer, while <strong>Zack<\/strong> presumably lags behind for a bit, it stands to reason <strong>Aerith and Cloud<\/strong> could begin developing those feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"schema-faq wp-block-yoast-faq-block\"><div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1653158623719\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">What happened to Zack in Final Fantasy?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Sadly, once again, Zack was killed by Shinra forces outside of Midgar city limits, and Cloud had to take the Buster Sword and drag himself the rest of the way. RELATED: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade: Who is Melphie.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1653159449523\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Is Zack alive in Final Fantasy?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">The ending of FF7 Remake Intermission DLC shows Zack alive and well, attempting to see Aerith at the church in Sector 5. A possible reason why Zack was brought back is that Cloud may encounter an unfortunate end midway through the games.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1653159471882\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Is Zack a Sephiroth clone?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Zack, also a Sephiroth-clone, was a complete failure: he was not mentally affected by the experiment due to previously being unaffected by the identical SOLDIER procedure. The twelve successful Sephiroth-clones become the group of fanatics that follows Sephiroth around in Final Fantasy VII.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1653159555781\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Is Zack Aerith first love?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Zack was the first person Aerith loved, thus creating an emotional connection between herself and Cloud, because he reminds her of him.
