Nobody Saves the World<\/strong> is an action role-playing dungeon crawling video game developed and published by DrinkBox Studios. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X\/S in January 2022, which was followed by ports on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in April 2022. How many players can play Nobody Saves the World?<\/h2>\n

Nobody Saves the World\u2019s release<\/strong> is days away, and everyone at Drinkbox is thrilled for you to play our wild, wacky take on action-RPGs. If you\u2019re not familiar with the game then sit back, close your eyes, and let me paint you a picture\u2026 (\u2026you may need someone to read this to you if you\u2019re actually closing your eyes).<\/p>\n

The Calamity spreads its corruption across the land, and the world turns to the legendary wizard Nostramagus to save them\u2026 only he\u2019s nowhere to be found. So you, the hollow-eyed Nobody, steal his magic wand and set out to defeat the Calamity yourself.<\/p>\n

What follows is a silly, sprawling action-RPG full of weird characters, bizarre dungeons, and wild quests. With the power of the wand, you\u2019ll unlock and swap between over 15 forms \u2014 everything from a Guard or Ranger, to a Horse, Bodybuilder or Dragon. You\u2019ll journey through a crashed UFO one moment, and an overgrown rotten pumpkin the next. There\u2019s always a new form, quest, or dungeon to discover right around the corner.<\/p>\n

As your forms become stronger, they gain ever more abilities, all of which can be mixed-and-matched with other forms. Want to create a Horse that shoots arrows like a Ranger? How about a Bodybuilder that breathes Dragon fire? You can do all that and more \u2014 and you\u2019ll need to invent increasingly powerful and clever combos to overcome the Calamity threat.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t have to do it alone, either. You and a friend can save the world together, either online or right next to each other in the brand-new local co-op. Two players at once literally doubles your form-swapping, ability-combining potential, unleashing a whole new level of creativity and overpowered combos.<\/p>\n

Is Nobody Saves the World co-op?<\/h3>\n

There is one new feature to land on all versions of the game, though: local co-op. Yes, the ability to team up and play together from your living room was something very much missed from the original release of Nobody Saves the World co op<\/strong>. After all, the hack-and-slash style combat is one that works very well as a duo. And while you could team up online, not being able to do so locally seemed like a glaring omission.<\/p>\n

Now you can\u2026 and while we\u2019re glad the feature exists, we\u2019re not convinced it\u2019s the best way to play.<\/p>\n

Yes, the combat of Nobody Saves the World nests<\/strong> truly does shine in co-op, but that\u2019s about where the fun ends. This isn\u2019t split-screen co-op; rather, both players need to share the same screen real estate. It means you can\u2019t wander too far away from each other, and if one player starts a conversation with an NPC, the other player is unceremoniously yanked from whatever they were doing and transported to the same location. Surprisingly, the same is true if you\u2019re playing online, too.<\/p>\n

Worse, it means that when one player accesses the menu, the other player will be left twiddling their thumbs. And when Nobody Saves the World locations<\/strong> requires a lot of menu work \u2013 turning in quests, changing characters, spending skill points, messing around with abilities \u2013 it gets tiresome fast.<\/p>\n

Still, local co-op is still always a welcome feature. We never get tired of playing something together with a friend, family member or loved one. It just isn\u2019t the optimal way to enjoy Nobody Saves the World switch<\/strong>. To really get the most out of it, you\u2019re still better off playing by yourself.<\/p>\n

How long does it take to complete Nobody Saves the World?<\/h4>\n

Transform into a ranger, a knight, and a HORSE in this new twist on Action RPGs from the creators of Guacamelee! Discover over a dozen forms, mix-and-match their abilities, complete quests and… SAVE THE WORLD<\/strong>??<\/p>\n

When focusing on the main objectives, Nobody Saves the World<\/strong> is about 14 Hours in length. If you’re a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 25\u00bd Hours to obtain 100% completion.<\/p>\n

How To Unlock More Form Quests In Nobody Saves The World<\/h5>\n

Up until a certain point in the story, the max level for characters is Rank B. You’ll be able to get one quest away from getting to Rank A before the game stops giving you quests and tells you to keep exploring. Getting to Rank A is important because you’ll need it to unlock the Monk and Rogue, two of the game’s best classes. You’ll also need them unlocked to gain access to the Robot and Necromancer.<\/p>\n

You’ll be able to unlock more form quests once you’ve completed three main dungeons of Nobody Saves the World egg<\/strong> – the Witch Queen Catacombs, the Grand Castle, and the Ancient Robot. You’re going to need to level yourself up quite a bit to get through these main dungeons, as they can be quite difficult, which means you should also be completing any demi-dungeons you come across. Completing all three of these will give you three Gem Shards and allow you to visit Octavia’s Lab to progress the story.<\/p>\n

Visiting Octavia’s Lab is the only way to access the upper portion of the map and gain access to the game’s last dungeons, but it also has the major benefit of letting you level your forms up beyond Rank B. Octavia will give you a special wizard’s hat that lets you upgrade forms further, and following a cutscene, you’ll be told that all of your forms now have more quests. From this point on, you’ll be able to upgrade any and all of your forms to the max level and there will be no more roadblock moments.<\/p>\n

Nobody Saves the World Gameplay<\/h6>\n

Nobody Saves the World<\/strong> is an action role-playing game played from a top-down perspective. The game can be played solo, though it also has a cooperative multiplayer mode. In the game, the player controls a blank-state character named Nobody, who is equipped with a wand. The wand allows them to transform into 18 forms, such as magicians, robots and dragons. Each form has two basic skills at the beginning of the game, though as players progress, new abilities will be unlocked. These characters also have different stats and attributes. The skills and the abilities of different Forms can be combined to create devastating attacks. Other Forms can share the gameplay benefits of one Form when it was unlocked.<\/p>\n

As players explore the overworld and dungeons of Nobody Saves the World<\/strong> which are procedurally generated, players need to complete quests and gameplay objectives in order to earn experience for upgrades and Star, a currency which is used to unlock the legendary dungeons featured in the game. These dungeons are filled with enemies and traps, though players may also find treasure chests and hidden keys if they explore an area thoroughly. In each of the game’s dungeons, the only respawn point is located in the area where the player is about to encounter an enemy boss.<\/p>\n
